Welcome to our latest blog post! As the winter chill sets in, we’re excited to share some fantastic new features we’ve been developing for our Bonnet premium users. Stay cozy and read on to discover the latest updates designed to make fleet management smoother and more efficient.

Web Portal Updates

🛡️ Insurance is Here!

Managing your fleet’s insurance details has never been easier. You can now add insurance information for each vehicle, including the provider, type of cover, expiry date, and even upload your policy documents. Keep your fleet covered and all your information easily accessible in one place.

🚗 Driver License Expiry

Never miss a license renewal again! You can now add and manage driver license expiry dates, with separate expiry dates for each vehicle type. This new feature is available on the ‘Drivers’ page in the web portal, ensuring you stay on top of all your compliance requirements.

🚛 Hubo Meter

For those managing big rigs and trailers, you’ll soon be able to choose between servicing and RUC calculations via the odometer or HUBO meter.

🔄 Tyre Rotation Reminders

Set reminders for tyre rotations at intervals of 9,000km, 10,000km, or 13,000km. This feature will offer a dropdown menu for easy setup, ensuring your tyres are always in top condition.

📋 Driver Checklists

Create and customise inspection checklists directly in the web portal. These checklists can be displayed on your driver’s app, covering everything from pre-start checks to monthly inspections.

⏱️ Odometer Reading

We’re adding an odometer field for petrol vehicles, making it easier to track mileage and manage servicing schedules.

🔗 Driver Linking

Share vehicle details seamlessly with another profile. Drivers can easily accept and send vehicle linking invites, making it simpler to manage shared vehicles and keep track of RUCs and service intervals. Currently available on the web portal, this feature will soon be on the app.

🛣️ RUC Circle Relocation

We’re moving the RUC circle to be the first thing you see on the app, making it more accessible. No more searching below for this crucial information.

Fleet Premium Trials

If you’ve added your vehicles via our standard method, they’re not connected to the NZTA for updates. If manually updating your WOF/COF, REGO, and RUCs is a hassle, email with ‘Premium Trial,’ to steph@bonnet.co.nz and we’ll connect all your cars to the NZTA for a 14-day premium trial. We’ll also refresh all the data across your fleet, ensuring WOF/COF/REGO and RUCs are accurate.
